Our second Yule calendar surprise makes you sing and look up to the skies above!

Saelo Honeythumb, a librarian slaving working in Tuckborough and a member of the Brandy Badgers, has made a festive song for us: a fireworks song!

Fireworks in the Sky

Coming down from the snowy hill, ooo
Mixed with December evening chill, ooo
Every place unfolds as a sight
Under bright light
When fireworks bloom in the sky, aah

There is a calmness in the view, ooo
Light motes rippling like summer dew, ooo
Chasing away all the fears
Sounds like music to the ears
When fireworks bloom in the sky, aah

Colours remind of warmer days, ooo
Meadows in the morning with haze, ooo
For memories of the spring
We start to sing
When fireworks bloom in the sky, aah

To start anew we look for signs, ooo
When darkness and shadows fill times, ooo
But it is the Yule tonight
And we must hold on our hopes tight
When fireworks bloom in the sky, aah

Many scars has left passing days, ooo
Forgiving turns the nights to days, ooo
Vows are taken with the friends
While holding hands
When fireworks bloom in the sky, aah

The melody of this song is very similar to this tune by The Rolling Scones. Saelo's version is slightly longer though:
