For our 4th hobbity Yule calendar surprise, we have a Yule song! This is a brand new one that has not even been tested yet, but it should work as a song. I have written it to be performed with our LOTRO band, The Brandy Badgers. You might see them at our biweekly rehearsals in Michel Delving (next time on 8th December, LOTRO Meriadoc server), or in Winterhome during the Yuletide, when we go wassailing there.

 

Here is also a pick from a previous calendar: a painting that Miss Rubellita sent for the 2017 Yule Calendar. You can imagine these wassailers singing the song. Here's what she tells about the painting and the artist:

Dutch artist Anton Pieck is well known for his wintry scenes that remind many of the novels by Charles Dickens. In the above picture he even predicted Winterhome, hobbits and wassailing. Aye, he even foresaw the upcoming fiddle!
