Our 6th yule calendar surprise might get yer drooling again: miss Passerose has sent us a biscuit recipe! She might have sent us biscuits along with it too, but them have been lost in the Quickpost, for some reason. Well, maybe yer be able to bake some on yer own using this recipe! Here's what Passerose sent us.

Hullo everyone!
Every year, in my family, you know you’ll find two things at our Yule meal. First thing is a Chocolate and Chestnuts Yule log (sorry, that’s not the recipe written here, but maybe next year…), and the second thing is a plate full of Biscuits. GrandMa is baking these two since I’m a very little Hobbit, but I still enjoy them as much as the first time.
This year, I’ve been allowed to share this recipe among all of you, so I hope you’ll make a good use of it!
Take care and Happy Yuletide everyone!

GRANDMA PRIMROSE’S YULE BISCUITS
For 2 dozen of biscuits
YOU WILL NEED
2 – Small Eggs
190g – Sugar
1 – Vanilla Sugar Sachet
125g – Butter
375g – Plain Flour
½ Teaspoon of baking powder
Caster Sugar
And a bit of Yule Spirit…
WHAT TO DO
1. Mix the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until you get a frothy mixture.
2. Add the softened butter, then the flour and finally the baking powder.
3. Make a ball with the whole pastry and let it stand for an hour in a cold place.
4. Next, roll it out with a rollin pin until it is around 3/16 inches. Use pastry cutters to cut it in “what you want” shapes (stars and hearts are grand biscuits shapes though).
5. Bake it for 10 minutes at 200°C/392°F. When it’s ready, you can add some caster sugar on the top of the biscuits.
