It's time for a yuletide song again! Here's an old song I made for the Brandy Badgers yule song pack. It's based on an old yule song, O Come O Come Emmanuel. For me, it is one of those songs that gets me into that peaceful mindset that is an essential part of yule for me. In the middle of all merriment, I also like to enjoy the silent moments and contemplate all I have, all I am grateful for.

Yuletide for All

It’s Yuletide, the grandest time of the year
When we rejoice all what is us dear

Some small hobbits play their games in white snow
Enjoy the feast and gammer’s tales of old
For them, the magic of Yule eve is real
The wonders only youngest eyes can see

Yuletide, Yuletide
The best time of yer life
Keep the Yuletide magic alive

Them years fly away so fast
Will the magic last
When yer grown and old
Don’t ever let that magic go

For it is the Yuletide, Yuletide
The best time of yer life
Keep the Yuletide magic alive

Oh, magic of the Yule
The magic of the Yuletide
Believe in Yuletide
Don’t loose that magic of the Yuletide
Believe in Yuletide
Even when you get old

Oh, the sweet mem’ries of the past
They all last
Whirl with the snow
Grey hairs turn into silver glow

For it is the Yuletide, Yuletide
The best time of yer life
Keep the Yuletide magic alive

Yuletide, Yuletide
The best time of yer life
Keep the Yuletide magic alive

Keep the Yuletide magic
Alive

Here's the original tune. It's a bit tricky to follow the lyrics and the melody to this arrangement, but it's fine just to read the lyrics and listen to the beautiful performance.

O come, O come, Emmanuel - (Piano/Cello) - The Piano Guys
