Today, we have another surprise by Yamy! It is a very special Yule song with a strong message. Here's what Yamy tells us about it:

Everybody likes to listen to happy carols and celebrate. Some carols have a different tone. This particular one, traditional of my place, wants to make us remember about the less fortunate & move us to help the ones in need during the holidays. I am not the author but Tony Croatto, I made a translation from Spanish to English. While it is easy to play this one with most instruments, it sounds the best with guitar like string instruments like lutes & harps.

A child called Jesus

At the door there a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep
he comes with maracas at this Yule time
bringing a carol, he wants to sing.

At the door there is a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep.
I don't have time, I can't listen
tell him that there are sick people, that the landlord is not here
He is one of those, from the Low Estates
of those who steal from me, a son of evil.

At the door there is a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep
close the door, I don't want him here
my friend is waiting for me, I have to go
to go party now, I'm going to party
tell him it's annoying, it's getting late.

At the door there is a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep
tell him to leave me alone once and for all...
that he is not the child of the Creator.

At the door there is a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep.
There is no stable, there is no beds
and neither a star for will shine.
Not even the Gift Givers will care for him.

At the door there is a child called Jesus
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep.
Jesus brother, Jesus friend,
Stranger Jesus, neighbor Jesus,
Jesus the neighborhood, Jesus the people,
Jesus the life, simply
Jesus!
with torn clothings, barefoot, and unkeep
he comes with maracas at Yule time
bringing his carol to the human kind...
